Testimonials

"Vince Rambala is my first choice for dog training.  I have recommended him to many of my clients, and the results are impressive.  Vince is not just a trainer--he's a natural-born dog communicator.  His  skill is rooted in his love and understanding of the animal.  Vince is currently working with my two shelter dogs, and I'm learning a great deal from the experience."

Dr. Sharon Capone, Cassidy Animal Care

"I've got some wonderful news!  I took Lexi up to Massachusetts for NERR's big fundraiser this past weekend.  They had CGC, TT and TDI testing.  Well, Lexi passed all 3!  All I have to do now is get the vet's seal of good health, mail off the form, and wait for the tag.  I am so proud of her, and I wanted to thank you for helping.  Working with you in helping her get over her dog aggression, and having an open mind in training has helped both of us."

"Thanks to Deb, Mike and all the great people from BASS, including our wonderful trainer Vinnie and helper Tom.  Thank you Vinnie for all the help you have given me over the past year with my fosters I've had thru The Rottie Connection Rescue Group that we took from the Newark Pound.  Great dogs like Brandy, China, Sheri, Dusty and Schatzi. Schatzi is still in foster but the rest are all doing wonderfully in their new homes. And so happy.  I wish all shelters were like your place, you're really a example for all of them. The best!"

"I can't thank you enough for helping us with them. I really think it helped to make them more adoptable. Mandy is in a home that adores her and EVERYONE comments on how much better Ginger is doing. She is actually going on a home visit on Tuesday night with a couple that seemed very interested in her and were so happy she was so well behaved... Although if they do adopt we stressed that continued training would be in her best interest. Thanks again for being so great with welcoming them into training .I know Ginger was a challenge and she owes you big time for helping her be a better girl..".

Vice President Friends of Wayne Animal Shelter

"When I adopted Chelsea early 2007, I was determined to find someone who would help me,to help this beautiful, sweet Sheltie/Corgi mix out of a world where she was frightened and shy of people...all people. It took me 3-4 weeks just to get her to come out of hiding behind the couch and not shake and shiver with fear every time she saw me. I needed an experienced, confident and committed trainer to help me understand Chelsea 's fears and conquer them. were that trainer. Starting with basic training then moving on to the novice class, here we are 20 months later. With your techniques, confidence and support, Chelsea is no longer the fearful dog with the tail between her legs, quivering at the sight of people. She gained the confidence to go out in public; in fact I think she actually enjoys it! With your encouragement, we worked with her to receive the Canine Good Citizen certificate which she did receive and(to my surprise)she has also become a Certified Pet Therapy dog! She loves the agility training (where she gained even more confidence) I can't help but beam with joy when I see her get so excited after completing some of the obstacles. She runs to me with her bright eyes and tail held high then jumps up to me as if to say. That was fun! Let's do it again! Who would have known she could do this? Your confidence in gave me the strength to continue working with her. She continues to amaze me each week with her progress. How far can she go? Who knows but with your guidance and support she has become social and accepting of people. Your training techniques, experience and commitment to working with all dogs is truly inspiring. Without you, Chelsea and I would still be struggling to "get her out from under the couch".  Now she can confidently walk in public."

With grateful thanks and acknowledgement for all you have done,

"I would just like to say thank you for helping me, (not Piper, lol), in becoming part of the CGC/TDI family.  I really had a great time sharing the hour on Saturday with such nice people, and their beautiful Angels, or probably the other way around.    Looking forward to seeing you all again, sharing our special angels with those less fortunate.

Again, thanks Vince and team...."

"Thank you for being such a great instructor. I sometimes think I will never train her. I appreciated you reinforcing last night that she is just a puppy and will get better with time. Having my granddaughter (16 months old ) here everyday for 9 some hours and Shiloh jumping, nipping etc. becomes stressful. I know she has made good progress in the last 2 weeks, as you teach me to teach the her.   I look forward to having a well behaved four legged member of the family.   By the way the cat is now very good at "go to place". Maybe Shiloh will learn something from him.   Again I can't say enough to tell you how grateful I am to have found you. Faith said you were the best."

"I just wanted to let you know how great the training has gone with Santos.  I really learned a lot from your class and Santos has continued to be very responsive.  You are certainly a great instructor.  After several classes, I realized that you were training us in the same manor that we were being taught to train our dogs.  Thank you so much for the great start.  We look forward to continuing his training."

Sincerely,

Karen

"Thank you" does not adequately express my deep appreciation for the training and encouragement you have given to Charlie (aka Sir Charles) and me. Dealing with and overcoming his aggression to other dogs has lead to the adoption of a new playmate for him. It is such a joy to see him playing so happily with his new sister, Roxy. God bless you, Vince......you have a very rare talent. I'm so glad we found you."

Sincerely,

Margaret Hliboki

"Just wanted to thank you for a great experience!  I've been to many different obedience classes over the years (six in all), and this was the best ever.  I love your idea of "no yelling" and "positive reinforcing".  I only wish I could have met you when I had my other Lab, Toby.  The classes I took him to encouraged "prong" collars and military commands.  I wasn't a fan but eventually gave into their methods, though I felt uncomfortable.  I think my dog would have done so much better in the environment and techniques you have provided.  This is Bob's first time bringing a dog to  "obedience training", and I know he  has enjoyed  bringing Phoebe to the puppy classes as much as I have.   "Pass the Puppy" is the best and I'm so happy we were able to socialize her at a younger age.  I am looking forward to continuing her education and hopefully, going on to the agility training, as well!  She seems very responsive to training and loves to hear our praises."

Warmly,

Carol Cook

"Vince speaks the language of dogs.  They really understand, respect and love him. He makes the dogs want to please him.  My little Shih Tzu, Lady Mei-LI,  and I took basic & novice obedience, he prepared her for her CGI test Pet Therapy Evaluation, and to everyone's surprise he had her walking planks and going through the Agility course. She was one year old and it was a great experience thanks to Vince. He doesn't abandon his charges at the end of class. he's always there for his four legged (and two legged) friends. Years later I still call him with questions and he's gracious and generous with his time and advice. Vince truly cares about each dog and takes their specific needs into consideration.  As soon as I hear someone's getting a new furry friend I give them Vince's phone number. I feel anyone that has a dog in their life should have Vince too !  Thanks again and again Vince. God Bless You for all you do for our furry friends."

"I'd like to thank you for your help with my rescue sheltie, Doc. Doc is no longer the fearful, dog
aggressive sheltie I first brought to you. Your training has enabled Doc to become a confident and
happy boy who now enjoys meeting other dogs.  Our daily walks used to be very stressful as we would
have to avoid other dogs. Now our walks are pleasant experiences, because we can meet and greet other dogs and their owners without any problems.  Your methods are both humane and effective, using positive reinforcement for good behavior. Doc's changed behavior will help me reach my goal in competitive obedience and agility.
Thanks for everything and see you in class."

"I was determined NOT to have a "nervous and jerky" chihuahua!  The dog training and socialization, and human support provided by Vince Rambala has made the difference for me and Pedro Miguel!  ".  Thanks  Vince!

"Before I came to you, my sister spoke to another trainer who heard Tucker's story and sent me into a total state of panic.  I was convinced he was not trainable and the worst dog in the world.  When I met Jodi  I knew you were the trainer to try.  She said to me Tuckers story did not sound so bad and clearly that has been the case.  And he is getting better every day.  For the first time, Tucker got on the couch and cuddled next to my sisters dog Baci. This was a first and was great to see. Also, my sisters dog Baci is a 40lb Pit Mix ( runt of the litter).  She is a very feisty and Tucker and her have had a few confrontations.  So we were thrilled when they were curled up together.  So I think Tucker being with the dogs in class has been helping.  Also, thanks for all your help with Tucker.  Until the private lesson with you, I was looking for a new home for Tucker.  But the training is helping and I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel."

Thanks,

Pam Bagot

"Vince, just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful 6 weeks of dog training/bonding  . . and especially for a lovely Graduation class last night. You added so many meaningful touches last night -- there is no doubt that you really love all these dogs.  And thank you for the wonderful pictures. I love them all -- and will be ordering quite a few as I am going to create a "dog training" photo album for Ginger.  You are truly wonderful with both dogs and "parents."
